Is the sales group a high performing team or serving as independent contractors? I woiuld speak to both individuals independly and enlist their commitment and support not only for each other but the great good of the organization. WIIFM would be a central consideration for each individual to buy in to this approach. Clearly, some kind of incentive mechanism might be warranted as well. As an aside, we just don’t know enough about the dynamics and processes in this organization to make a definitive suggestion, but this adds additional food for thought.
